Describe who/what this design is about

Logo for our Christian Youth Ministry. Our group consists mainly of people in their 20's. So, no childish, Disney channel looking designs, please. Our group loves rock/pop music, computers, and most of them are in college/university.
We want to express the idea of being continuously connected to Jesus Christ.

Hello robin56, Your design is not what I am looking for. Like I told you before the icon is too big, I wan the icon to be as tall as the letters. Placed on the left side of the word "plugged". Thanks!

Kerawikka, I'm liking the designs but try to keep the whole concept horizontal as opposed to centered. Is that possible?
