Product Label Design 3

Block-Aid

We are looking for a design concept that will allow us to market an engine / motor treatment to be in competition with Sea Foam Motor Treatment and STP Motor Treatment. Sea Foam is the leader and STP is 2nd in the category. We are going to request 3 or 4 different designs using different product names here on Logo Guru. This particular design is based on using the name "Block-Aid" Engine Treatment by FVP. This ideal would be to incorporate and engine block type image to make sure people understand this reference to block in Block-Aid, or literally aiding the engine to remove blockages like carbon deposits. Aiding it to get better mileage. etc. Our product does the following: Motor Treatment for Gas and Diesel Engines Cars Boats Bikes Trucks Main Benefits Are: Instantly Cleans Power-Robbing Carbon Deposits, Gums & Varnish Cures Rough Idle, Hesitation & Pinging Fuel Stabilizer - Removes Moisture from Fuel & Oil Helps: Clean Fuel Injectors Clean Intake Valves Stabilize Fuel & Oil Remove Moisture From Gas Increase Lubricity Lower Emmissions Protect Against Viscosity Buildup Upper Cylinder Lube Fight Fuel-Line Freeze Prevent Oxidative Degradation Required message at bottom of bottle front: Contains No Alcohol Use in Gas, Ethanol, (E10 & E15), Diesel, Biodiesel. Oil Use in Injector Cleaning Machines DANGER: HARMFUL OR FATAL IF SWALLOWED Read Warnings on back label 1PT (16 Oz) 473 mL

Automotive

Target audience is me age 25 to 65 who love to take care of their cars. A bottle of this product will likely retail for around $8.00. This product needs to look very credible and reliable.

We need to have a lable designed to rap around a 16 oz metalic bottle. The bottles will be identicle in size and shape to the competitors that we will be selling against. These are Sea Foam Motor Treatment and STP Motor Treatment. The bottle is approximately 7.75" tall the diameter is 2.5". The top of the bottle is tapered. The printable area is layed flat is 7.75" wide by 6.5" tall. The bottle background comes in white, however the background in the printable area can be any color. The twist off lid can be in any color to compliment your design. Due to the curvature of the bottle the "front" of the bottle area needs to be constrained to 2.75". if you go wider than that you can see all of it from the front. There need to be gutters of .25" on each side of this. So the remining area is the back and will contain the instructions etc. For these comps you can use "greeked" text for the back area. We are mostly interested in using these comps for front facing shelf comparison for focus group research

Designs #13 and #14 are getting close. The only thing I do not like is the Block-Aid type or look. This needs to be much more stand-out, bold, interesting or fun.

BTW Love how #12 shows the comp on the bottle very helpful. I would suggest that any winning design will show it this way as well as the flat of the lable so we can see the entire layout.

#8 needs that flag or checked background. Change the dark type to something brighter. Make Block-Aid more fund. Maybe on these designs the By FVP bank should be the Footer on the bottles not complete with the product name. This would apply to the Miracle Boost version and Block-Aid version . Not the FVP motor treatment version in Project #1.

On #12 I would suggest using an ingine graphic vs the pistons. I like this name of Block Aid first and larger and we could reduce the by FVP size to about half. I'm wanting to promote the Block-Aid idea much more than FVP. (Think of FVP as more of J & J or P & J on the produc lable but a more minor role. Color and typography look good. Try to come up with a more exciting typography for the Block-Aid. Make it more fun, blowing out the carbon, exploding, etc. Same type of comments for # 11

Please have a little more fun with this design. Block-Aid is supposed to convey the idea of this being a "first-aid" type product for your engine block. Maybe a super-hero type approach?

Hello, The idea behind the Block-Aid name was to reference an Engine Block. I believe that in order for this name to make sense. There needs to be a 3D time perspective image of an engine on the front of the label. It needs to emphasize that this is a Block - Aid or and Aid to your Engine Block.
