We often use analogy of “the black box”. The black box does all the heavy work. Data goes in and insight, knowledge and understanding come out because of the internal unseen workings of the box - The Assessment Forge.

We have had a favorable response to the various designs with the Saturn Ring like design element. It seems to have good synergy with the Black Swan Risk Consulting Logo which can be seen on our website www.blackswanriskconsulting.com. Thanks again to everyone. I hope the feedback helps and good luck.

Conceptually, design #2 explored a theme (blacksmith, forge, etc.) that we considered in the past before moving on to the black box theme. I don’t love the specific design but it was good enough to make us have second thoughts about abandoning the theme. We would consider more designs around this theme and strongly favor designs that elegantly combine both themes togethers. Thanks to all the designers. Keep them coming.

I think design 1 is particularly effective conveying intelligence and power that is embedded within the box.

I think design 17 is particularly clever conveying both the black box concept that I described in my brief but also the notion that the black box can help solve a particular puzzle for our customers.

Once a winner is selected I want to get 4 versions of the logo. A horizontal and vertical version and a Horizontal and Vertical version that include a Service Mark symbol (a superscript SM) at the end of The Assessment Forge text. As a result of the extra work I will upgrade prize money accordingly.
