I would like some color to the design - I've seen some that utilize a lot of gray or soft blue that have little impact to the eye.

I would guess the natural instinct would be to use a picture of a compass but I assume there will be other creative thoughts (compass is ok but wouldn't want total dependence on that concept - would like to see other options)

Draft #57 - Could we try something different with the font? Perhaps Business Strategies in an orange? Compass Business Strategies in a color gradation? Thanks for the ideas.

Draft #28 - can you add the color black to the inner star (at the axis) on the compass icon?

Draft #40 - Thank you for making the changes! I like the little shadow effect under the icon :) Could I bother you to try a different font (perhaps like #42 and #28). Would just like to see what it would look like. I like the color schemes as you have them.

Draft #28 - I like where you're going with this. Could we do soemthing with the lettering to have a little more life/impact. I like the gradation I've been seeing in some of the examples. Perhaps have the Business Strategies in the same orange as the icon.

Draft #26 -I'm liking the colors and the concept. Can we take the logo picture on top of the words and move it to the left side of Compass. I've found its easier to work with logos that aren't stacked. Also reverse the circle with the arrow so it's pointing up and towards the words. Thanks.

Hi DC - thanks for asking - much appreciated. I'm focused on entrepreneurial vs. big boring corporate (been there :). I want some lively and engaging colors (e.g. projects: Engle Creative Solutions #26; Donaldson Group #67; Quantitative Research Group - various colors). My company is about moving small companies into the right direction. Don't know if there is a way to play with the "o" in compass with and arrow moving upward - I am defintely not a designer by any means...that's why I need your help. Please let me know if you want more info. Thanks again!

Hi Everyone - thanks for your participation in helping with my logo. I'm really looking for something that does not look real "bid company corporate". I'll be marketing to small to mid-sized "local" companies that are very entrepreneurial. I would really like something a little more edgy (but still professional) including the color schemes. I hope this helps.

General thought - my business will be working with established businesses (small biz that has been around 4+ years) that find themselves in need of being pointed back in the right direction. At this point in their lifecycle they may be too caught up in the details (i.e. can't see the forest for the trees syndrome)and need help in redefining direction and strategies in mulitple areas of their business.

draft#3 I like the use of the letter O in Compass, but would like to see a design that has a feel of movement or action rather than a "static" feel. Thanks.

Draft #2 - Hi - Thank you for submitting a proposed logo for my new company. While this is a clean design, there are a couple of things I'd like to share to guide additional designs. I don't want to use the initials CBS as it has the TV network connotation. I also would like to keep the logo concise from a sizing perspective. I have found in my marketing experience that having a "stacked" (increased height)logo becomes problematic logistically in situations such as adding to a website header. Thank you for taking a first pass!
