Describe who/what this design is about

A logo for a professional publication that will go to the top ceo's and presidents in the metro area. Needing a professional look. My first thoughts are to have the logo look something like metallic or silver.... but open to other options. Would consider 3-D as a possibility. Would like the design to be noticed well but kind of simple if that makes sense. Indiana Business Today
