MAXIMUS NON-CONTIGUOUS: Modern, Edgy Design For An Alaskan T-Shirt

MAXIMUS NON-CONTIGUOUS

Alaska and Hawaii do not geographically border the other 48 United States of America, and are categorized as "non-contiguous" or not connected. Alaska is also the largest state in the union by far, and Anchorage is the largest city in Alaska. "Maximus" is the Latin word meaning "largest" or "greatest". 2015 is Anchorage's 100th anniversary. My goal is to trademark a phrase and market a T-shirt, hat, and other apparel items that portray the unique status of Alaska as the largest, not-connected state. I'm using the phrase "MAXIMUS NON-CONTIGUOUS" to describe the great state of Alaska. I'm searching for your design help that incorporates the phrase "MAXIMUS NON-CONTIGUOUS" with some sort of artistic rendering of the state of Alaska. I envision the design as modern and edgy. I would like the phrase "Anchorage 100 Years Strong" in smaller, more subdued text below the main design. One idea I see is an outline of the state with what looks like a large angled stamp that reads "MAXIMUS NON-CONTIGUOUS"...Just one possible idea. A riveted metal sign might be another idea? Incorporating the state flag is another idea, and/or perhaps a cool mountain range??? (Denali is the highest mountain in North America). Blue and gold (Google the Alaska state flag) are good ideas for color choices, but should not be the only colors to be considered. Red, white and blue are other good choices to incorporate. The design colors should pop on a black T-shirt and be vivid on other colored shirts as well. The idea is to encourage tourists and locals to buy this shirt based on its edgy, amazing appearance. Also please incorporate a small trademark marking "TM" somewhere near the MAXIMUS NON-CONTIGUOUS as my trademark registration is pending, but not complete. Open to different ideas.

Apparel

Alaska residents and visiting tourists, and anyone interested in seriously cool apparel. Many Alaska cruise-ship visitors are middle aged and senior citizens, so nothing offensive or crude. The idea is to encourage tourists and locals to buy this shirt based on its edgy, amazing appearance.
