Mission Statement for BMS-Fitness:

BMS-Fitness is a health-based company focused on maximizing personal health in body, mind, and spirit through customized fitness programs and life coaching. We are focused on creating workout programs that allow you to be efficient and effective in achieving your personal health goals. We strive to enhance your experience by providing life coaching aspects to help keep you motivated and focused on your specific fitness goals. BMS-Fitness believes in an overall health and awareness of body, mind, and spirit. We want you to continue to grow in life, specifically in the aspect of health, and we want you to embrace the journey and love yourself throughout the process.

BMS-Fitness wants to not only help you achieve your fitness goals, but to understand why you have them and what actions you can take to ensure that you attain those goals and feel that sense of fulfillment that will lead to your overall happiness. We pride ourselves on education and the sharing of knowledge to create self-awareness and continual growth. Fitness is a lifestyle and it starts with the right mindset.

My core values for BMS-Fitness.com, in no particular order:

1.) Self-Awareness – I consider self-awareness to be one’s conscious recognition of their actions. I value self-awareness because it is important to me that I recognize how my actions are going to affect those around me, specifically my clients. Additionally, I value self-awareness in my clients so that they can fully understand how their actions can affect their fitness lifestyle and are aware of good actions vs. bad actions.
2.) Love – I value love because I think it is important to spread love and positivity into the world and also to embrace the love of oneself. I want my clients to love themselves throughout their entire fitness journey and love the path that they have chosen. I do not want them to be obsessed with perfection and trying to attain the unattainable. I want to promote love of oneself and one’s body from the very beginning of the process and all throughout the journey.
3.) Worthiness – I value worthiness because I think it is an important trait to feel worthy to receive love and happiness. I want my clients to be able to feel worthy of receiving love and happiness so that they are able to have that fulfillment and inner peace.
4.) Happiness – Everyone should feel happy and be worthy of receiving happiness. Happiness in life is the ultimate goal for living. It can be attained a number of different ways but it is also achievable through living with balance. When you have balance across all of the different aspects of your life, you tend to find fulfillment and this fulfillment always leads to happiness. I strive to create happiness in the fitness aspect of peoples’ lives by creating customized programs that leave my clients feeling fulfilled in their efforts to maximize their health.
5.) Motivation – Inspiration – I want to motivate and inspire others to achieve their goals and live healthy, active lives. I value clients that are motivated to change and feel that they are not as fit and healthy as they would like to be. I want to lead by example and use that leadership as inspiration to others to keep working for what they want and to set reasonable and attainable goals from within themselves.
6.) Spirituality – I feel that spirituality is the same as religion. Whatever you believe in, just believe in something. Hope is important and this provides hope. This allows you to trust the journey you are on and to enjoy every step of the process because you have faith.
7.) Fitness – Health – Health is constantly taken for granted and I hope that I can help others achieve their ideal health through the creation of a fitness lifestyle. There is nothing better than being healthy especially when you are maximizing your health through a fitness lifestyle. Being fit has different definitions to different people. There are multiple levels of fitness and I want to make sure that my clients get to and attain the level of fitness that they desire so that they can maximize their health.
8.) Expertise – I value time and effort put towards honing a skill. I have not only lived a fitness lifestyle, but I have studied it as well and dedicated time and investment to ensure that I have the knowledge and the certifications to help others achieve their goals.
9.) Simplicity – I do not like to overcomplicate life. I strive to make a fitness regimen that is simple and fun for my clients. I truly want to customize workouts that they enjoy and are not burdened to do. Being fit and maximizing your health is not overly complicated and I want to provide a simplified platform for those wanting to attain a level of fitness to maximize their health.
10.) Growth – Life is all about growth. I always say that if you are not growing, you are dying. We grow in a physical, mental, and spiritual sense. As we go through the journey of life, we grow. Same to be said as we go through our journey of fitness, we grow and learn and become more self-aware. Growth tends to come through struggle so it is important to be grateful for our struggles because they provide us with growth opportunities.
11.) Working Smart –I like to be efficient and effective. This coincides with simplicity. I want to make sure that I am designing programs for my clients that fit their specific needs. I want these programs to help them achieve their fitness goals by working in a manner that is best for them. I want to reduce the risk of injury and make sure my clients understand the logic and the science behind their specific workouts. I do not want my clients doing unnecessary exercises or fitness processes that do not focus entirely on their fitness goals.

“Train your brain!” “Spread the love!”

How do I define fitness or “being fit”:

Fitness is an overall feeling of wellness within you that is objectively measured by your health statistics. The objective measurements determine your overall level of fitness in body, mind, and spirit, which I consider to be the three facets of fitness. You can be at different levels of fitness in the different facets of fitness. The ultimate goal is to maximize your potential in all three facets of fitness.

Hi All, Again thank you for the overwhelming amount of design submissions. I have tried to do my best to eliminate the ones that didn't speak to me. I have some additional input about the design I am seeking: 1.) No gradients in the colors. I want them to be solid colors so it is cleaner. 2.) Square-type design. Rectangular are more difficult for business cards, shirts, and other marketing devices. 3.) Limit of 2-3 colors in the design. I want to keep it simplistic in nature...though I may have said differently in my creative brief (my apologies about that!) Please let me know if this feedback is helpful and if modifications can be made to the current submitted designs. Thank you again!!! Marc

Hi All, Thank you to everyone for their design submissions. I really appreciate the time and effort! I am struggling a little bit though because the URL for the website is: BMS-Fitness.com I think that the logo should include the "-" in it so that it reads BMS-Fitness. I don't think it is necessary to include the ".com" I welcome any creative feedback, comments about design options, and/or concerns with what I am proposing. Thank you again everyone and I am excited about the designs but I think that they may need some minor changes so I am trying to be more specific. Marc
