Halloween is known as the candy and costume holiday, however it is one of the largest indicators retailers have to clue them in on the economy of the upcoming holiday shopping season. It’s not all tricks and treats – designing an eye-catching ad for Halloween is a monumental task! The pressure is on to design an ad that draws attention to the brand and piggybacks on the Halloween theme.

Halloween is challenging to design without resorting to the dreaded holiday cliché poster ads that use vampires, ghosts, and zombies. Although it is tough to find an ad without referring to a popular cliché in one way or another!
