A West Coast based American importer and distributor of fine wine. Imports wine from Europe, Australia and South America and distributes American wine. Need to have a logo for letterhead, website and for the the back of wine bottles. The challenge with the back of wine bottles is that the logo needs to be straightforward enough with good definition that it would fit with the logo and Grape Expectations, Inc. brand. The size available on the back of a bottle total is 4-5mm space. Must have significant definition at that size. The logo can be an image with Grape Expectations, or it can be the name itself but by law it needs to say: "Selected and imported by: {LOGO} Grape Expectations, Emeryville, CA"
The logo needs to look good in color and black and white. The back of bottles are mostly black and white. Please provide both in the mark up. We need to have a logo that will look good as a brand for letterhead in color. We use this for the domestic side which distributes U.S. wine.
The company has been in business for 35 years and has stability and trust of the marketplace. The name of the company is Grape Expectations, Inc. The company is moving toward using the name Grapex.com for the website. If there is a way for the Grape Ex to visually pull out from Grape Expectations that would be a good possibility but not a requirement. Looking for something that is not too detailed, easily recognizable in several different sizes.
What makes us unique is that we have sophisticated taste and give good value. We provide a high quality of selection, with a personal level of detail at a very good value. People will taste different varietals from high quality vineyards and want to buy the wine again. It is reliably a very good bottle of wine that is surprisingly something that you may not have tried before at a very good value.
Specialize in knowing the subtleties of European wine and lesser known vineyards with great wine at good prices.

Needs to look good in black and white and color. Wine comes red and white and grows in green. Not wedded to a particular color.
