Iconic yet Modern logo for Internet Video Company / Brand

We started off as a radio show and now we need to break away from our current logo (which you will see attached) as we are branching out into the realms of video production and as such we need to update our logo with something more professional looking
The most important focus of this design should be the logo icon. We are looking for either an original looking space helmet or maybe a futuristic looking mask / face as the icon itself. In many cases we will be using the icon on it’s own so people can eventually identify the brand without the text. We will also be using the icon for t-shirt production as well so it’s particularly important to stand out.
The word planettyro (Planet Tyro) should remain one word, all in lowercase and we would prefer a chunky looking font for it, meaning a simple yet interesting BOLD type looking font.
The helmet-ish lcon / logo should not look too complicated but we would really appreciate originality so it is a memorable design
Dark background is a must. Helmet design and text should each be a different color so that each stand out from each other.
When finished please show a version with helmet logo on left following text on right and another with logo sitting above the planettyro text (see attached examples)
Final work will need to be produced in 2 full HD sizes 1080p & 720p and we will also need a transparent version of the helmet logo on its own to use as branding for office documentation etc
Facebook / YouTube / Twitter dimensions for final designs will also be needed
