The shield logos looks awesome, however there is a company down the road who uses a shield logo and I want to stand out and be different.

I might stay away from a play on letters, unless it looks relevant to heating and cooling. Logo 17 is an good play on letters because it looks like air is blowing through.

I am not opposed to the snowflake idea as long as its original. snowflake / sun design are very common in my industry. The flame and snow flake logo is pretty cool.
