Creative Brief

Logo for non-profit Nissan GT-R group.

"Carolina" "GT-R Crew"

No

"GT-R Crew" is the non-profit brand. "Carolina" is the start up region. We are hoping to expand regions into other states and may require the need to add other state tags attached. We require whatever text is used for "Carolina" be non-custom and disclosed and available though purchase if not already a common text. Logo for "GTR Crew" or "GT-R Crew" is the primary focus of this contest. This contest for logo is about a car, the Nissan GT-R and a personal passion for what this street car and racing legend represents. We envision a simple and recognizable design for our brand. We plan to use this image for t-shirts and vinyl decals, so one and two color use, but for web design, shadows and color depth is acceptable for the main logo. We thank every designer for their participation and passion for automotive groups.

This is based on the USA version of the Nissan GT-R which are 2009-2017 years, if using the GT-R logo use the newer badge icon, the "R" has a sharp point coming off the farthest forward edge. Blunt front "R"'s are older generation Skyline GT-R's.

Typical "GT-R" badge is in the color of Red and Silver. Not required to stay with this, but anything to assist auto representation would help.

Dear Designers, Thank you to all for your dedication and hard work for this project! There are truly some difficult decisions ahead of us! For those of you I have been in communication with, special thanks for accommodating my change requests. I have been extremely pleased with the final product of your modifications. I will be having a team meeting with my partners in the next couple of days to decide on the winning design. Just know that all the designs are GREAT and you are all winners in my opinion! Sincerely, Jon

Dear Designers, Then dragon design used by anijams is based on our least favorite design and any designs or concepts would be more valued to have a "Godzilla" representation similar to that of the black and white Godzilla image in the project attachments. Thank you for your understanding,

Hello Designers, I have included in the uploaded design project images a Japanese character image that translates to "Godzilla". I would be interested in seeing the use of this as the logo itself in maybe in a solid box or circle (or any shape up to the designers artistic vision) and Carolina GT-R Crew along side of this image on either one line ("Carolina GT-R Crew" or two ("Carolina" "GT-R Crew"). Thank you and good luck.

Hello Designers, Please note that the ratings being given are only the opinion of myself. I am working with two other partners that have not seen the submitted designs as of yet. Although my opinion is valued by my partners, final decision will be on an internal vote and the more styles of design types (Character Type, Logo Type, Symbol or Abstract) the better we can assess the brand image representation. I have recently uploaded some "Godzilla" type graphical art that one of my partners suggested I include. I believe the use of something like this would best fit a symbol type or character type logo. It is very possible we may select more than one submission for use in/on different applications. You are free to message me if you have any questions. Thank you and keep up the great work! We are excited to partner with you soon!

There is some great work being submitted with this contest. Thank you!!! North and South Carolina States, USA are our foundation states, but I do see future expansion possible. Our website is www.GTRCrew.com and this is the hub for future state expansion. I do really like the use of "Carolina" incorporated, but please illustrate an option available without the state indication for use for the website "GTRCrew". The incorporation for auto body lines are really cool and both the side profile and rear tail section are very unique to the GT-R. I particularly like the use of the brand and iconic badge use of the GT-R. I would rather not use an abstract or unique design to illustrate the GT-R brand recognition. I am open to thoughts and opinions if you feel otherwise.
