Creative Brief

Cities & Women

Short Fiction

This is a front book cover. It will be published both in print and as an e-book and therefore must look clean and sophisticated no matter how large or small it is displayed.

Books

Adult readers of contemporary American short stories

The paperback print version of the book will measure the standard 5.5" wide x 8.5" high. The title should appear in italics, in a font that features an interesting-looking ampersand (e.g., Garamond). The design should evoke the French New Wave cinema or a 1960s jazz album cover, with one or more beautiful women shown in a Paris street scene (with or without the Eiffel Tower or another Parisian landmark in the background). It can be provocative or sexy but not vulgar or pornographic. Color lettering and background mixed with black-and-white photography is welcome but not required.
