2-3 ...Black & red, or Black & Gold or possibly orange. and possibly white ( or is white an absence of color ?) . I tend to see black or possibly gold as a solid background color on all or part of a business card when selection is made.

I want to allow you to be creative and not restrict you but I do like

1. creative font effects, graphics in the name,

2. creative use of letters DD, as part of logo ???

3. Geometry ( lines, dots, arcs, curves etc.)

4. Homes do not need to be in the logo but if it is used it should be abstract, gesture sketch like or simple.

5. Logo /info will be incorporated for cards, letterhead and project yard signs so it should be easily seen /read.

6. I tend to see logo used on verticle format business cards if that matters but that to is open if your creativity suggests otherwise.

7. Residential design should be below Design Directive if not apparent in description.

I am open to your creativity as I ask my clients to be so if you have something creative that you feel fits ...go for it.

Thanks for your time and creativity in advance.

I want to thank all the designers for your hard work and creative designs. I have found it a fun and enjoyable experience. I must admit I thought I would be able to easily select a winner but there are several fantastic submissions that I need to closely review and select from. I wish you luck on this and all future projects.

Wow everyone has really stepped it up and submitted some great ideas. I must admit this is harder to select than I thought it might be before starting the process. I have no doubt my final selection will be a fresh new memorable look for my company. I have tried to rate those that best fit my goals and needs. I am hoping there are still some great ideas out there and a few refinements to those that are already submitted before I make that final choice. Thanks again for all the creative solutions and effort.

Wow, Have been away a few days but some nice submissions. I have responded to several individually with thoughts. I want the logo /graphic to read well and be easily recognized and remembered from cards, trade show signs and project/yard signs. One I have not considered before but possibly D2( squared) could somehow fit in logo?? Not sure !

Benoit.. I am more drawn to the feel of 9,10,11. Would also like to see it in black.red/white ? maybe without reflective letters color? Also curious how thye DD graphic would look inside a square?

#21 Very nice liking the abstract nature of the D's in the graphic. Red /white on black would also be nice to see. Also perhaps if it could be done well maybew a thin line on the right side and an angled line over the top as an abstract of a roof line of a house. Not sure I want to be too literal but I am open to seeing how it would look. Thanks

#19,20 very nice additions. Liking the creative uses of D in the graphic. Also would like to see some versions in red /black/white Perhaps a line separating design directive and residential design? Also not sure if both names should or need to be same color. Design and directive could be diffferent colors or them the same and residential design a different color or white Nice work everyone

#9 Like the font and feel of lower half nice classy look. may need line separating design directive / residential design. Possibly other color combinations..red /black nice ! #10 nice variations usiing lines, dots etc. Woul;d circle around logo look funny being thinner than for of the D's ?

#7 clean look. Nice font... Logo is nice but looks possibly to thick ? Can font lines be thinner? Would also like to see version in red/black/white. Residential design still seems a bit small and maybe lines between DD and Residential design ? thanx #8 general feel isnt bad but font seems a bit heavy...same for circles. Also could see versions of these set in black or gold background .

Wow quick start. #1 this has an abstract graphic nature that is a start but not yet the graphic that seems to fit. Design and Directive should have more separation. and read easily. One thing to keep in mind is that this will eventually be used in trade show booths and yard signs that require quick recognition and easy reading. This is why Red on Black with white may read best and is what I currently use. this is still open though. # 2 graphic is too literal I would like it to be more modern and abstract and names stronger and crisp #4 This is a nice start..Graphic does not have to be to the side. Can be above. Also would like to see some ideas with creative use of letters DD ??? Residential design needs to be bigger read easier. #4/5 I tend to see fonts in more modern crisp looks?? same with graphics. These are hard to convey I know but some nice starts everyone ..thanks
