The framework for the website is already up at www.dollarversity.com, and the logo should mesh with it, as well as being similar to the logo for GreenBridge Advisors found at www.greenbridgeadvisors.com.

The blog is run by GreenBridge Advisors (www.greenbridgeadvisors.com) and should incorporate a similar look as the parent company in terms of clean logo, with distinct recognizability. The logo will ideally incorporate the company name and a graphical image, as well as the tag line, but should be done in such a way that the graphical portion can be be easily separated for use on it's own or the designer will provide that portion as a separate file.

To everyone: I really do appreciate all of the designs and concepts. Just want to put this out there, just in case: I will be needing a png file that is completely transparent aside from the actual logo itself included in the package of files. I know some people who have purchased logos in the past and did not receive this specific file, but it is very important in this case. Again, thank you all very much!

@tpixel #28: Can you change the lettering to something a little less bulky, and maybe change the "v" from the logo portion into something less of a check mark and more like the letter? Thank you!

@validesign: Can you take #24, offset the "Versity" a little to the right, and apply the reverse treatment to "Dollar" from #23 (green on bottom). Thanks!

@sallu (#21): Any way you can show me the design placed against the header from my site? Thanks!

@vramdesign I'm going to request a completely different logo. Although I really like #10 very much, I realized that it looks WAY TOO SIMILAR to the Vertical Response logo. Everyone else, please also stay away from something like this. If you need a point of reference please search for "Vertical Response" and look at the very top of their website. Thanks.

I'm liking what I see so far, especially the textual components with the tag line. The thing I'm having a bit of a hard time with is the graphical components. #1/2 I don't really get the concept of the icon, and plain white really doesn't work very well for my needs. I do like the contrast in the textual component. #3 looks a little too cartoonish, and takes the concept from the main company site too literally. I may be wrong, but it also seems like you have the blog name as 2 separate words, when it should be one word #5-8 I'm really liking the textual portion, especially how the tag line is incorporated but not overstated. The colors in the icon for #6 work the best of all your samples, but it may be a little too plain, and the "v" may be mistaken for a check mark. Also, please understand, that the initials aren't the only thing that can be used. Anything in the realm of personal finance, business, or an abstract design that may tie into the site itself can be used.
