Akcess Inc

Safe and Sound (tagline in logo up for consideration)

Yes

aKCess, as the spelling would suggest, is a locksmithing service, servicing the greater Kansas City area. We can do auto, residential, and commerical, and are a mobile service, but don't want to limit ourselves from a marketing perspective by calling ourselves a "mobile locksmithing service," as this is typically associated with automobile emergencies on key making only.

Since our business name is ackess inc only (doesn't say locksmithing) we are open to the idea of incorporating the word locksmith, lock and key, etc...as you see fit.

If you are planning to use a key or lock as part of the design, we prefer the chrome look over gold. Black White and grey/chrome are our favorites, perhaps with one other color (or not). On colors we lean toward shades of Purple and Blues. That said, if another color really works well and has the right effect on the customer, we are open. You are the experts; show us what we want.

Could we see #14 without the tagline?

We are currently ranking #2 and #14 as our favorites. Sanval, I like all your designs, but I'm concerned that the house and key will make customers think "residential."

Design #18 by gilia is a replica of #1 by logoon, therefore has been taken down.

What is the significance of the trees, grass, and color on number #12, pertaining to locksmithing?

I like the layout of #1, but not so much the colors. I love #2. Would be nice to have gradient for use on some surfaces, and flat color on others (something I could do in CS5). #3 is not my favorite, but well done. #4 and #5 look like something I could throw together in MS Paint, not something generated by a qualified professional. I came here to get skills beyond my own. Between #6 and #7, I prefer the grey, but the key image look like an arrow that was rotated and then notched on the end. Not a fan of how the key looks. #8 and #9 look like they had a lot of thought/work put in to them, but are totally missing that clean, simple, modern look that was specified. #10 is very nice, but a lower case "ess" would make the KC pop more. #11 is interesting but #10 and #11 both confirmed for me that I'd rather leave the tagline off. Thanks!
