Thinking the lettering in a dark chocolate with a soft yellow outline/offset - Making it seem to stand out. The background in red, while the center to be in the landscape colors of green along with the gray of the wire basket and white golf balls. Please understand these are just our thoughts, and we are wide open to creative ideas.

not sure

Our initial thoughts were an oval design with The Hack Shack on the top portion. In the center would be a tipped over wire basket of balls with golf club resting on it. The basket would be on a well manicured tee box with trees in the background. The lower portion of oval would have the wording Driving Range and below that, Denver, NC. This logo would be used on our signage, website, and merchandise (shirts, hats, etc.)

Absolutely awesome. Each designer has made this decision very, very, hard. Promise to get some star ratings ASAP. Truly appreciate everyone's hard work on this, and absolutely amazed at the talent! Thanks again.

Please disregard our background comments. I think we can agree the sky blue just does not work. We assume the best route would be the choice of a logo design, and in turn work with the printer on background colors rather than request the designers to go through this process. Is this a correct assumption? Any comments would be appreciated.

Drafts #36 and #46 - These are neck & neck. Darker/Deeper green on "The Hack Shack" lettering, and a sky blue background w/ border should determine what works best. Thanks.

We absolutely appreciate the submissions so far, however, we are really hoping someone will take complete creative license and surprise us. I am hoping my comments have not pigeon holed this project into this design only. We were attracted to the Logo Guru process to open our project to many different looks and ideas.

Drafts #14 & #16 - These are looking good. Getting closer. Oval Coloring: Shade of Red - Terra Cotta/Burgundy. Lettering Coloring: Shade of Brown - Sepia/Coffee. Lettering Outline: Shade of Yellow - Cream. Fonts we like - From the Website 1001 Free Fonts: Comic Section: Mr Bubble Font Font, Orange Fizz Font, Quartermain Font Famous Section: Kentucky Fried Chicken Font Western Section: CBGB Font Font, Dry Goods Font, Vanilla Whale Font Retro Section: Airstream Font, Fairfax Station Font Please understand, we are trying our best to give some idea of what we are thinking, but really are wide open to any ideas. Does not have to be oval, really any shape is fine. We are confident someone is going to hit that perfect design for us. Thanks so much.

Drafts #8,9,10 - These are more what we envisioned. #8 - Really like the center landscape scene. Wondering how basket & balls on right, with driver and teed ball (similar to #10) on left might look, however, the simplicity of basket & balls is appealing. #10 - Like red oval and dark chocolate lettering. "The Hack Shack" font's submitted so far are not grabbing us yet. Do like the "Driving Range" font on #8 & #9 - Should be Denver, NC, not Inc. Feeling confident a design is coming that will immediately jump out. Thanks to everyone.

Draft #4 - Back on track with the wire basket submission. Thanks. We would like the lettering to be more antique/rustic, similar to barnside advertising seen years ago. Deep chocolate in color with a yellow outlining or offset. The oval border red in color, and the lettering taking more of the shape of the oval (can cross over the oval). The center is more of a landscape scene with a tipped over bucket of balls (more balls than shown), a resting club on the basket (driver or iron) this all laid out on a dark green tee box. The background should be hardwood trees with blue sky peeking through. "Driving Range" would be the lower half same as The Hack Shack lettering above. Denver, NC would be the last line smaller and horizontal in orientation. Picture this on a sign hanging from chains on a stone structure. Sorry for all the detail, and hope this helps.
