The top half of #3 needs to be "V" shaped not rounded as it appears above. While the rounded top is more popular the "sideways" V is also acceptable and plays vital role in logo... (see sketch of sample I uploaded)
The bottom half or BELLY of the 3 needs to be rounded and in fact perfectly round where a baseball will expand to meet edges of lower 3. Bball essentially makes up lower part of "3" and should be inlayed (lack of knowing proper term?) where it is obvious a baseball while the #3 remains equally as obvious.
The letter "P" is formed by connecting as creatively as possible a straight line using the same BELLY of "3" and Bball to form the BELLY of "P".
All 4 are intertwined (?) yet to the viewer it is easy to see the "3PV" and the baseball.
As to colors--baseball being the All American Game --Red-White & Blue where 3 is RED- baseball perimeter is black (optional if you find a way to blend it in w/out black edging that is fine) -Ball is white- where threads are RED and the "P" AND "V" are both Blue...tricky part being able to have all symbols 3-P-V (& baseball) standout in their respective colors/shapes to be easily distinguished for viewers.
NOTE: feel free to use 3 colors any way you can make them work--V could also be WHITE where it may be integrated into top of 3. Also am open to creativity in making the straight line of "P" formed from a baseball bat.
***This does need to be traditional in keeping within the context of the game itself***

Only to reiterate the logo must convey all 4 easily discernible symbols of a "3" -"P"- "V" with a baseball inlayed using RED-WHITE & BLUE colors. Then again...
Baseball must remain round where as it could also be seen as an "o" even though projecting the letter "O" is not a necessity...it would just meet another hidden value in this new business enterprise...the more easily it is to discern 3-P-V-O and a baseball the better...but def need 3-P-V and baseball....with my feeling being the "o" would be obvious as well.
