"HITO" as in our company name means "person" or "human" in Japanese language (人 = hito in Japanese or ren in Chinese).
We provide consulting services with focus on hiring/selection and organizational development. Simply put, maximizing the effectiveness of human capital in organizations is our goal.
We value human aspect of business, and emphasize scientific and empirical methods to be fair (rather than irresponsible intuition based on anecdotal evidence and fags with motivational speech).
We conduct field research via surveys and advanced statistics to:
1) Examine the effectiveness and needs of organizations and program initiatives
2) Examine the needs, attitudes, and opinions of employees for selection and further development
3) Emprically test and develop measures to predict job candidates' job success at pre-employment (flagship service)
We also develop and deliver various soft-skill workshops based on the up-to-date findings and theories in the field of organizational science.

We don't have much idea about the text part but we have some idea for an icon.
We want an icon to represent 人 (hito in Japanese kanji character, ren in Chinese hanzi character; means person/human), and English alphabets, t, k, and R (capital) for the founders' initials.
Rather than a combination of four characters with so many strokes, we want it to be simple. For now, what we came up with is simply adding one curved line to 人. A line starts from slightly left of almost top of 人, crosses the tip of 人 to right, draws a relatively sharp curve to downward left (like a crescent moon) and stops before crossing a lstroke of 人 branch off to two at the lower half.
This makes it look like either 人, small t in cursive, k in cursive, or capital R depending on the way you look at it. Then, circle it, and apply metalic effect like an emblem of a car.
