Describe who/what this design is about

I would like to have a logo made for my new sporting wear company. The name of the company is Grip and Rip Sports. I would like a logo that is simple yet memorable. I have attached two jpg images of two very big companies logos. I would like to see some creativity in to incorporate the G and R in Grip and Rip. See the logos attached and you will know the companies just by looking at their logo.

#21, #18 and #19 all look great. Can I see them with a new tag line? Instead of Sports Wear, I would like to see it with "Winning is Everying". Thanks.

I like the simplicity of #2 and the colors of #7. If possible, plese show the way it would look like on a shirt as #4. Please keep them coming.
