Tagline

Include this tagline in my logo.

Describe who/what this design is about

Silvertip is a grizzly bear. I want the logo to be simple, modern, cutting edge and iconic. The business sells corporate and team apparel as well as promotional products. I want the word "SILVERTIP" to be dominant with "Sport & Promotions" secondary. The key to the logo is the logo image representing the "bear" aspect of the name.

What colors would you like?

Main colours would be black and white but silver accents could be added. It is important that the logo also be usable as only 1-colour for keeping costs down on promotional giveaway products.

How many colors do you want in your design?

Do you have any additional suggestions or ideas?

The logo will be used for self-branding on website, business cards, stationary and especially screen printed and embroidered apparel and promo products.

The logo needs to be shown as it would look on black backgrounds but also on other colours (ie. Red)

The business is in the process of changing names from Silvertip Angler Promotions & Apparel (old logo uploaded) to Silvertip Sport & Promotions. The old logo was not simple and iconic.

I do have a per-existing idea of what I want in a logo but I prefer to see original ideas first without creating my personal bias.

validesign and mnorth -- my decision is down to your submissions. I am leaving for vacation to Mexico later today and won't have decent access to the internet. My decision will be finalized on Monday, February 3rd when I return. Thanks for all your hard work and sorry for the delay but it is a tough decision and I wish to get it right. Thanks

Just a note to the designers: I like the simplicity and elegance of Drafts #7 and #4. I don't need to see a "whole" bear like I had in my old logo as that was not iconic and it was difficult to use for branding.
